Join us on Saturday, September 14th in North East Community Park in North East, MD. This huge annual fundraiser helps us acquire the funds we need to cover rescue expenses for the year. We appreciate your support in helping us save more deserving dogs from high kill shelters, provide them with the medical care they need and place them with loving families.
Join us for a day of FREE family and dog fun, vendors, demonstrations, raffles, entertainment, food trucks, and more!
The event itself is free to attend! Registration by August 25th is required to participate in the walk around the park and receive a commemorative event t-shirt. Your registration fee helps us raise the much needed funds to save as many dogs as possible from euthanasia and help them get the life and care they deserve.
Well-behaved, leashed furry family members are always welcome.
This event provides House of Hope with the majority of the funding we rely upon for the following year to fulfill our mission to save the lives of dogs who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in high-kill shelters.
100% of the funds raised go to our dogs. Your donation and fundraising efforts help pay for medical treatment, transportation, and foster supplies.
85% of our dogs are heartworm positive. The treatment averages $1,500 per dog while our adoption fees are only 20% of this cost alone.
House of Hope frequently donates dogs to be trained as emotional support or service dogs and we don't charge in those situations.
